Our journey began in 2017 as Star English and Maths Education Centre, and in 2023, we proudly expanded to become Star Private High School.

Academic Program
Our comprehensive academic program covers a wide range of subjects designed to meet the educational needs of our students and prepare them for future success. The program usually starts in the first week of June and ends in the third week of February, culminating with an award ceremony.
ကျွန်တော်တို့၏ Academic Program ဟာဖြင့် အနာဂတ်တွင် ထွန်းလင်းတောက်ပ အောင်မြင်စေရန် ကလေးများရဲ့ Intellectual, Emotional, Social and Physical Development ပိုင်းကို အလေးထားပြုစုပျိုးထောင်ပေးပြီး အစိုးရသင်ရိုးနှင့် နိုင်ငံတကာသင်ရိုးများဖြင့် စနစ်တကျသင်ကြားပေးတာပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ထို Program ဟာပြင် ဇွန်လပထမအပတ်မှစတင်ပြီး ဖေဖော်ဝါရီလ နောက်ဆုံးပတ်တွင် ကျောင်းစုံညီပွဲ( Award Ceremony)ဖြင့် ပြီးဆုံးလေ့ရှိပါသည်။
Our academic program is also designed to offer a comprehensive education that integrates both local and international curricula. It includes:
- Government Curriculum: Covering essential subjects like Myanmar and Social Studies to ensure students are well-versed in national history and culture.
- International Curriculum: Focused on global standards, this curriculum includes English, Cambridge Exam Preparation, Maths, Olympiad Maths Preparation, and Science, providing students with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in a global context.

Our weekend classes, running from the third week of June to the third week of February, provide additional support and enrichment opportunities for students who wish to further their learning in English, Maths, Science, and ICT.

Our engaging summer program starts in the second week of March and ends in the third week of May. It offers academic enrichment classes and a variety of activities, including creative workshops, sports camps, and clubs such as Dance, Art, Reading, Drama, and Chess.

Our pre-IGCSE program prepares students with the foundational knowledge and skills necessary for success in the IGCSE curriculum. We focus on core subjects such as English, Mathematics, and Science, ensuring students are well-prepared for advanced studies.

Our IGCSE program offers a rigorous curriculum that equips students with internationally recognized qualifications. We provide a wide range of subject choices and personalized guidance to help students excel.

Our guide class offers personalized tutoring and mentorship to help students achieve their academic goals. These sessions take place from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM on school days.

Student Council: The Student Council at STAR Private High School plays a crucial role in fostering leadership, school spirit, and community involvement. The council is responsible for organizing events, voicing student concerns, and promoting a positive school culture. The council members are elected by the student body and work together to enhance the overall student experience.

Students at STAR Private High School are divided into four houses: Sirius, Targaryen, Alioth, and Revati. Each house has one leader and two co-leaders, with representatives from both Primary and Secondary classes. Throughout the academic year, students earn marks based on their academic performance, teamwork, and behavior. The house with the most marks is awarded the House Cup at the end of the year. The house system encourages camaraderie, healthy competition, and a sense of belonging among students.
